Shirley Ann (Franklin) Adams, age 72 of Paris, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. Shirley was born January 21, 1939 in Winfield, Kansas to Ernest and Letha (Baucham) Franklin. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall is Paris. She enjoyed giving to charities and loved Facebook and Farmville. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Penny) Adams of Paris, IL and James (Jeanette) Adams of Maryland; two daughters, Linda (Ronald) Brewer of Brocton IL and Monee (Bob) Morfey of Ashmore, IL; a brother, Davey Franklin of Texas, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Ronald Adams, her parents, four brothers and two sisters. In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, her body was cremated and will be buried at Oakland Cemetery. A private family service will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Paris, IL on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Oakland Food Pantry in care of the funeral home.
