Sandra Kay Bristow, age 72, of Chrisman, IL passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
Sandra was born May 27, 1948 in Terre Haute to Charles and Betty (Boswell) Bogetto. She married Louis Bristow on February 2, 1980 and they enjoyed 40 years together.
Sandra was a resident of Chrisman for over 40 years, and was a member of the Chrisman American Legion Post #477 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and other games of chance.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Bogetto.
She is survived by her husband, five children: David Gross, Carla Pogue, Kim (Sean) Crawford, Michelle Holvey, and Bobbi (Jeremy) Blue; a step-son: David Bristow; a step-daughter: Shawn DeWeese; a daughter-by-choice: Andrea Gross; one half-sister: Tami Bogetto Akers; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Chrisman American Legion Post #477 Auxiliary or Edgar County Animal Shelter.
