Obituary for Nancy Ellen Eastin
Nancy Ellen (Winkler) Eastin, 78, of Oakland, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Wednesay, November 9, 2016. She was born April 3, 1938, the daughter of Raleigh and Floris (Collins) Winkler.
She married Marvin William Eastin on June 6, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN. Nancy was a homemaker and loved traveling to warmer climates in the winter. She also enjoyed the southwest, taking videos of loved ones, and traveling the United States. She was a member of the Oakland Christian Church.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin William Eastin, a son, Marty Eastin, and a sister, who was stillborn.
She is survived by a son, Shane (Bobbie) Eastin, of Hindsboro, IL., a brother, Dale (Jackie) Winkler, of Salida, CO, five grandchildren, Jamie Lancaster of Tolono, IL, Carrie Conner of Seaside, CA, Adam Eastin of Seaside, CA, Duncan Eastin of Charleston, IL, Sydney Eastin of Hindsboro, IL and seven great grandchildren.
Services celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 14, at the Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland, IL, with a visitation beginning one hour before the funeral service.
Memorials in Nancy’s name may be made to “Christmas is a Child” or the “Power Pak” program.
