Obituary for Leon Grant Dugan
Leon Grant Dugan, age 89 of Chrisman passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman. He was born on August 16, 1924 in Edgar County, IL to Jesse L. and Stella M. (Whitesell) Dugan. He married Doris Jean Osborn on September 5, 1945 in Paris, IL. Leon was a lifelong resident of Chrisman and an owner/operator at Donley Trucking, Inc for 41 years. He loved going to Mike’s Grill in Tilton, IL and was a regular customer there for over 50 years, he had many friends and was always willing to share a story. He is survived by one sister in law, Lucille Allison and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie; one son, Steve; his parents; one brother; three sisters; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Visitation will be held for two hours prior beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Hoult Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Pleasant Meadows Senior Living Activity Fund.
