Elsie Faye (Craig) Ingram, age 86, of Chrisman, IL, died Monday, November 7, 2022, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living.
Elsie was born March 9, 1936, in Ross Township, Edgar County, IL to Archie Lee and Retta Faye (Newport) Craig. She married Elias Elton Ingram at the Chrisman Christian Church on September 23, 1955; he survives.
She is also survived by her daughter: Glenda Dea (Dennis) Barrett of Chrisman, IL; two grandchildren: Cody (Kristan) Barrett and Courtney (Jonathon) Jones, both of Chrisman, IL; three great-grandchildren: Taylor Jones, Izzy Barrett, and Ember Faye Barrett, also of Chrisman, IL; and a sister: JoAnn Lacey of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Elsie was employed as the parts manager at Mooney Motors for over thirty years. She was a member of the Chrisman Christian Church and enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers and ceramic roosters.
A graveside interment will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Chapel Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Meadows Senior Living Activity Fund. Online messages of sympathy may be left at www.krabelfuneralhome.com.
