Obituary for Ellen Louise Jackson
Ellen Louise (Brown) Jackson, age 68 of Brocton, IL returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Newman Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Ellen was born June 18, 1947 in Urbana, IL to Claude and Zola (Peterson) Brown. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ellen was an artist and a photographer, and she also loved shopping, having animals, and traveling.
She is survived by two children: Julie (Adam) Bange of Brocton, IL and Jennifer (James) McFarland of Decatur, IL; two brothers: Roy Boyd of Phoenix, AZ and Burt Boyd of Texas; three sisters: Jeanette Jackson of Tuscola, IL, Sandra Lazzell of Apache Junction, AZ and Sharon Day of Phoenix, AZ; and five grandchildren: Rebecca and Brianna Bange of Brocton, IL and Ethan, Lauren and Jackson McFarland of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roxy Jerard Jackson; and her parents.
A private graveside funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Krabel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
