Obituary for Donald WyJune Redman
Donald WyJune Redman, age 84 of Chrisman, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Paris Healthcare Center. He is now in the arms of Jesus. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Donald was born June 19, 1933 to Darwin Stone and Sadie Murel (Cross) Redman. He married Edith Faye McCauley on December 2, 1953, she survives. Donald was a veteran of the Army National Guard, and spent most of his life working as a truck driver. He was active in his church, Kidley Community Church, the Chrisman American Legion, and the Dana, IN Masonic Lodge. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching old western movies. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and one half-brother, Theodore Fithian. He is survived by his wife; five children: Donna (Rick) Muelver of Milwaukee, WI, Deborah (Michael) Martin of Chrisman, IL, Diana (Jamie) Botner of Brownsburg, IN, Donald Steven (Natalya) Redman of Chrisman, IL, and Darla Redman of Paris, IL; two sisters: Dorothy Donaldson of Kentland, IN, and Eleanor Sieferts of Princeton, IN; sixteen grandchildren, and thirty four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman, IL. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Kidley Community Church.
