Robert Bryan Peck, age 66, of Champaign, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Bob was born May 1, 1957, in Lakewood, OH, to Robert Allen and Jean (Patterson) Peck. He married Maureen Elaine Moats on May 12, 2006; she survives.
He is also survived by two children: Robert Christian Peck of Madison, WI, and Margaret Jean (Scott) Beattie of Cary, IL; a sister: Susan Peck of Mundelein, IL; and two grandchildren: Abigail Peck and Fiona Beattie. His parents preceded him in death.
Bob worked as an electrical engineer, and also owned and managed Peck Rentals. He was a member of the Vineyard Church in Urbana. He loved music and enjoyed digitalizing vinyl records. He also enjoyed reading and was an avid Illini sports supporter, including women’s volleyball. Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very kind and compassionate man.
A service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorials in Bob’s honor may be made to the Vineyard Church.
