Linda Lou (Clark) Taylor, 78, of Chrisman, IL passed away February 2, 2023 at Casey Healthcare Center, in Casey, IL surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother for 60 years.
A private family service will be held and burial is in the Vermillion Cemetery. Krabel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor was born January 4, 1945, in Paris and was the daughter of the late Eugene Francis Clark and Lorene Violet (Ward) Clark-Tapscott. She married Richard Lee Taylor on August 16, 1964, and he preceded her in death in 2015.
She is survived by a son, Cory (Kira) Taylor of Chrisman; four grandchildren, Shelby (Dalton) Waltz of Ridge Farm, Connor Taylor of Chrisman, Ave Miller of Chrisman, and Jenae Kauffman of Terre Haute; one great-grandson, Kamdyn Waltz of Ridge Farm; several nieces and nephews; and life-long best friend Judy Smart of Mattoon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Clark of Paris.
Linda will be remembered most for her devotion as a wife and mother and her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her fondest memories were of the 25 years she spent living on the Walling Farm in Vermillion, cooking for family, and attending her grandchildren’s activities. Her great-grandson Kamdyn was a special source of joy in her life.
