Floyd Edward Stark, age 59, of Ashmore, Illinois passed away at his home on Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was born on July 4, 1954 in Paris, Illinois to John Wayne Stark and the late Mary Jane (Washburn) Stark. He was a lifelong resident of the Ashmore area. He loved cars and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Floyd is survived by two children: Sadie Stark of South Elgin, IL and Eddie Stark of Ashmore, IL; his father, John Stark; two brothers: Johnny (Wanda) Stark of Tell City, IN and David (Patty) Stark of Oakland, IL and one grandson, Charles Stark of Ashmore, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Stark. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Crossroads Cancer Center in Effingham, IL.
