Obituary for Virginia R. Aydelotte
Virginia Rosalie Aydelotte, age 98, of Brocton, IL passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Arcola Health Care Center. Virginia was born April 23, 1922. She married Floyd H. Aydelotte on February 14, 1941, he preceded her in death. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Brocton. She was a member of the Brocton American Legion Auxiliary and the Shiloh School Board, served as secretary for the Brocton High School Alumni, and started the town Bunco group and Golden Girls group. She enjoyed quilting, thread crochet, reading, and crossword puzzles. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter: Trula Ann (Aydelotte) Farina, and one grandson: Vince Aaron Farina. She is survived by her brother: William “Bill” E. (Ruth) St. Clair of Houston, TX; three grandchildren: Tamara Lynne Farina of Newman, IL; Lisa Deanne Farina of Naperville, IL; and Debra Kaye Dwyer of Atlanta, GA; and three great-grandchildren: Joseph Pierce Farina of Mattoon, IL; Laura Maria Farina of Naperville, IL; and Jessica Olivia Farina of Naperville, IL. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. Interment will follow in Payne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brocton American Legion Auxiliary or the Brocton Alumni Association.
