Obituary for Thomas Harold Dudley

Thomas Harold Dudley, age 67, of Mattoon, Il, died Friday, September 13, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital.

Thomas was born November 7, 1956, in Charleston, IL, to Robert L. and Patricia (Wright) Dudley. He married Cindy J. Sidwell on July 9, 1992, in Charleston, IL; she preceded him in death.

He is survived by a brother: Michael (Barb) Dudley of Brocton, IL; a niece: Tiffany (Roy) McCammon of Oakland, IL, two nephews Chad (Kim) Dudley of Brocton, and Robert (Roseann) Dudley of Brocton and several great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a brother: Steven Dudley.

Thomas was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He drove a semi for many years, was a forklift driver at Kal Kan, and a mechanic and farm helper for Skinner Farms. He enjoyed NASCAR, semis (both real and models), and collecting die cast vehicles. He loved his dog, Joey, playing with his nieces and nephews, and being around his family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston, IL. Online messages of sympathy may be left at www.krabelfuneralhome.com.
