Teresa Ann “Terrie” (Taylor) Bradley, age 67, of Paris, IL, died November 18, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Terrie was born May 6, 1958, in Paris, IL, to James Ellis and Mary Elizabeth (Hunt) Taylor. She lived for many years in Charleston before settling in Paris in 2008. Terrie was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She retired after being employed for twenty years at North American Lighting. Throughout her life, she held many roles with pride - she was a devoted stay-at-home mom, ran her own successful cake business, worked at Byrds Cleaners, and managed the VFW Post 1592 in Charleston.
She was a former member of the Moose Lodge. She kept busy with her many interests, which included shopping, manicures and pedicures, tending to her and Christian’s koi pond, antiquing, playing Candy Crush, and riding her Harley. Terrie loved the color red and country music. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.
Terrie is survived by her four daughters: Jennifer Pichette (Paul) of Menominee, MI, J. Nickie Madlem-Easterday (Chad) of Charleston, IL, Jodie Shaffer of Charleston, IL, and Jessaca Plank (Duane) of Charleston, IL; her fiancé: Christian Fern of Paris, IL, her mother: Mary Taylor of Oakland, IL; two brothers: David Carlyle Taylor (Carla) of Oakland, IL, and John Earl Taylor( Lisa) of Oakland, IL; ten grandchildren- Paige, Mason, Payten, Alexis, Keegan, Raegin, Chloe, Rylie, Evan, and Scarlett; and six great-grandchildren- Amora, Jaxon, Oliver, Amelia, Sawyer, and Caison. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland, IL, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials in Terrie’s honor may be made to the Edgar County Animal Shelter.
