Obituary for Stephen Phillip Zoerb
Stephen Phillip Zoerb, age 71, of Ridge Farm, IL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Stephen was born April 15, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI to David and Abigail (Shaw) Zoerb. He married Debra Sue Pridemore on December 16, 1978, and they enjoyed more than 42 years of marriage together.
Stephen was a faithful member of Ridge Farm Bible Church. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, swimming, and model railroading. He was a talented woodcarver, and was a member of the Kickapoo Karvers Woodcarving Club.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, their son: David (Vanessa) Zoerb of Sebring, FL; and his five siblings: Jeanette Hallman of Waukesha, WI; David (Linda) Zoerb of Holcombe, WI; Jim (Betty) Zoerb of Heyworth, IL; Sue (Tom) Carney of Libertyville, IL; and Paul (Danae) Zoerb of Ledera Ranch, CA.
An open visitation will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Friends are welcome to come in and pay their respects. The family will hold a private funeral service.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to Ridge Farm Bible Church.
