Obituary for Sheila Gail Bertrand
Sheila Gail (Liles) Bertrand, age 57, of Metcalf, IL went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her home. Sheila was born April 18, 1961 in Danville, IL to Herman Winfred and Thelma Josephine (Turner) Liles. She was united with her partner in life, Joanne Joyce Franz, on December 31, 1987 in Gibsonton, FL. Sheila enjoyed sewing, coloring, crossword puzzles, coupons, shopping, horses, Native American artifacts, and cooking and canning foods of all kinds. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by her partner, Joanne Franz of Metcalf, IL; one son: Kelly Dale (Katie) Adams of Metcalf, IL; one daughter: Marilyn Adams of Tuscola, IL; three grandchildren: Jacob Adams, Makayla Adams, and Lucas Adams of Metcalf, IL; two sisters: Darlene (Charles) Silcox of Virginia and Angela (Vickie) Liles of Metcalf, IL; three brothers: Ronald (Joan) Liles of North Carolina, Tom Liles of Georgetown, IL, and Darrell Liles of Danville, IL. Sheila’s wishes were to be cremated, and no public services will be held.
