Sharon Elaine (Collier) Pine, age 75, of Redmon, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Sharon was born June 6, 1949, in Paris, IL, to Stephen William and Margaret Elaine (Henson) Collier. She married Ronald Dean Pine on September 18, 1970, in Paris, IL; he survives.
She is also survived by two children: Veronica Pine (Lane) of Shelbyville, IL and Laura Williams (Luke) of Brocton, IL; two brothers: Gary Collier (Anna) of Paris, IL and Dean Henson (Jody) of White Heath, IL; and two grandchildren: Kaylin Williams and Taylor Williams of Brocton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law: Veva Henson.
Sharon retired from the Shiloh School District, where she worked for many years. She held several positions at the school over the years, but her favorite was being a teacher’s aide. She truly loved helping children get excited about learning. Sharon also enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, a good home improvement project, and being outside. She dearly loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and her dog, “Buddy”.
In accordance with Sharon’s wishes, no public services will be held. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Shiloh School Library.
