Obituary for Robert Harold Heath
Robert Harold Heath, age 87, of Chrisman, IL, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Paris Healthcare Center.

Robert was born April 20, 1927 in Hume, IL to Stephen L. and Clara (Waltz) Heath. He married Annie Marie Lack on June 18, 1949. He was a lifelong resident of the Chrisman-Hume area, where he farmed. He was a member of the Chrisman Nazarene Church. Robert enjoyed working with mules, old tractors and volunteering as scorekeeper at Chrisman High School basketball games. He dearly loved his family, and was especially fond of his grandsons and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Robert) Hale of Chrisman, IL; two sisters: June Deffenbaugh of Paris, IL and Judie Macke of Crown Point, IN; two grandsons: Jarrod (April) Hale of Mt. Vernon, MO and Jordan (Deborah) Hale of Chrisman, IL; and five great-grandchildren: Lane, Nathan and Claire Hale of Mt. Vernon, MO and Davis and Porter Hale of Chrisman, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, Carolyn McKenna; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at noon at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hoult Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Paris HealthCare Center.
