Obituary for Rachael York
Rachael Lauren (Bullock) York, age 37, of Ashmore, IL, passed away on August 30, 2014 at her home.
Rachel was born September 22, 1976 in Cedar Falls, IA to Beverly Ann (Bennett) and James Roy Bullock. She was a member of the Christian Chapel Church in McLeansboro, IL. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter.
She is survived by her husband: Eric W. York of IL, three daughters: Payton Colleen York of IL, Jordyn Cierra Joiner of McLeansboro, IL and Taylor Marie Joiner of Chrisman, IL; her mother and stepfather: Beverly (Dan) Dare of Oakland, IL; a sister: Karin (Kevin) Scott of Sullivan, IL; two brothers: Jason Dare and Ryan Dare; her mother and father-in-law: Sherry York and Jim Fry of IL; a sister-in-law, Tina York; her maternal grandmother: Norma Batteese; her grandparents: Robert and May Bennett of Charleston, IL; an uncle: Alvia (Polly) Bennett of Charleston, IL; an aunt, Ellen (Jeff) Ashmore of Ashmore, IL; a grandmother, Ida Bullock of Clarksville, IA; three aunts, Becky Henry of Clarksville, IA, Tammy (Jim) Wedeking of Clarksville, IA, and Susan (Bob) Peterson of Clarksville, IA; a maternal aunt: Deborah Batteese Goodman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Bullock; her paternal grandfather: Delbert Bullock; grandfathers: James Batteese and Coleen York; her father-in law: Gary W. York; two aunts: Brenda Lueke and Bonnie Morris; and her maternal uncle: Loren Bennett.
