Obituary for Pearl Lucille Allison
Pearl Lucille (Osborn) Allison, age 98, of Chrisman, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living.
Lucille was born March 6, 1924, in Chrisman, IL to James and Pearl Madison (Erp) Osborn. She married James Eugene Allison on August 16, 1942; he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Steve) Garst of Paris, IL; two grandchildren: David (Gloria) Scott of Naperville, IL and Anna Garst (Peng Chen) of Wesley Chapel, FL; seven great-grandchildren: Levi (Christy) Scott of Lombard, IL, Cameron Scott of Naperville, IL, Sienna Scott (Teddy Cloyd) of Danville, IL, Spencer Scott of Hoopeston, IL, Taylor Scott of Hoopeston, IL, Alexander Garst of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Michael Oliver Garst of Wesley Chapel, FL; two step-grandchildren: Jesslynn Cloyd of Danville, IL and T.J. Cloyd of Danville, IL; a granddaughter-in-law: Trina Duckwitz-Scott of Danville IL; and several nieces and nephews. Lucille’s first great-great grandchild is expected in May. She was also preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and a grandson: Rick Scott.
Lucille was a lifelong resident of Chrisman and member of the Chrisman Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School well into her nineties. She loved flower gardening, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crochet.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman, IL. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Chrisman First Baptist Church in Lucille’s honor.
