Obituary for Patricia Jayne Ealy
Patricia Jayne (Wendel) Ealy, age 68, of Oakland, IL, went home to be with the Lord , Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Care Center in Mattoon, IL. Pat was born November 25, 1943 in Charleston, IL to Lester and Wanda (Gobert) Wendel. She married Darrell L. Ealy on September 29, 1961 in Oakland, IL. She was a lifelong resident of the area and enjoyed painting, flower gardening, Facebook, cooking, shopping and eating out with her children. Pat is survived by her husband of 50 years, Darrell Ealy of Oakland, IL; two daughters, LuAnne Centers (Jeff Baker) of Hindsboro, IL and Christine (Bill) Schwerman of Windsor, IL; a brother, Steve (Carolyn) Wendel of Oakland, IL; two granddaughters, Christina (Shane) Moran of Chrisman, IL and Ashley Centers of Hindsboro, IL and three great-grandchildren, Brayden Dare of Hindsboro, IL, Alexis and Preston Moran both of Chrisman, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Oakland Memorial Library.
