Naomi June (Fulton) Bowyer, age 88, of Chrisman, IL, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, IL.
Naomi was born December 15, 1929 in Edgar Township, IL to Hugh and Thelma (Chrisman) Fulton. She married Steve Nelson Bowyer on August 2, 1950. He preceded her in death.
Naomi was a homemaker, who also enjoyed playing the piano, crossword puzzles, and reading.
She is survived by two children: Vick (Susan) Bowyer of Chrisman, IL; and Brad (Sonya) Bowyer of Rockford, IL; one brother: Hugh D. Fulton Jr. of Chrisman, IL; and four grandchildren: Andrew J. Bowyer of Homer, IL; Stephen K. Bowyer of Chrisman, IL; Haley K. (Ryan) Hohl of Martinsville, IN, and Sarah Grace Bowyer of Rockford, IL.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 27th, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Franklin Cemetery in Chrisman, IL.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to Paris First United Methodist Church.
