Obituary for Mike J. Schupp
Mike James Schupp, age 64, of Chrisman, IL passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at his home in Chrisman, IL. Mike was born June 20, 1957, in Watseka, IL to Mary Johanna Elizabeth Schupp. Mike worked for over 30 years as an operator at Ely Lilly, owned and operated a guttering construction business for many years, and also sold insurance for a period of time. He was a member of the Chrisman Sons of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. Mike loved spending time with friends and family. He dearly loved his dog and enjoyed boating and bags tournaments. He is survived by four daughters: Candice Lewsader (Jeff) of Chrisman, IL, Amanda Bogle of Paris, IL, Lehea Schupp of Chrisman, IL, and Lindsey Mayotte (Clifford) of Champaign, IL; one son: Cody Campbell (Amanda) of Peoria, AZ; and five grandchildren: Anthony Beals, Stella Briseno, Brayden Campbell, Dailyn Campbell and Landen Lewsader. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Schupp Cranmore and stepfather, Melvin Cranmore; a daughter, Angela Dawn Bogle; and his grandparents, Gustav and Alice Schupp. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Sons of the American Legion at Chrisman or Edgar County Humane Society. Krabel Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
