Max Duane Willison, age 60, of Oakland, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon. Max was born November 18, 1950 in Mattoon, IL. He was a self-employed accountant and enjoyed golf, whitewater rafting and other sports. He served in the National Guard from 1968-1974 and was a member of the Tuscola Jaycees. He is survived by one son, Colby Willison and his wife, Melinda, of Charlotte, NC; his mother, Ruth (Waggle) Tutweiler, and her husband, Con, of Charleston, IL; and a brother, Rex Willison, and his wife Patti, of Arcola, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Willison and one brother, Harold Willison. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Van Voorhis Cemetery.
