Obituary for Mary Jane Pearcy
Mary Jane (Hunt) Pearcy, age 53 of Mattoon, IL, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at her home. She was born August 23, 1957 in Mattoon, IL to Lloyd Hunt, Sr. and Dorothy (Grant) Hunt. Mary was a lifelong resident of Mattoon. She enjoyed visiting family and friends and collected angels. She was a member of Liberty Christian Church. She is survived by her longtime friend and companion, Arcadio Cisneros of Mattoon; one son, David (Sara) Pearcy; two daughters, Dottie (Jose Sr.) Pearcy Tenorio and Sandra (Benjamin Jr.) Cisneros Ross, all of Mattoon; two brothers, Lloyd Hunt Jr. of Marshall and Daniel Hunt Sr. of Mattoon; five sisters, Orpha Farris of Mattoon, Lora Hunt of Mattoon, Martha DeLong of Mattoon, Kim Brant of Charleston and Brenda Hunt of Mattoon; twelve grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Pauline Hunt and Shirley Farris. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Oakland, IL at 1:00 p.m.
