Obituary for Marclyn Kaye Delgado
Marclyn Kaye (Lutz) Delgado, age 70, of Charleston, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Marcy was born March 26, 1947 in Charleston, IL to John F and Kathryn M. (Dodds) Lutz. Marcy was a 1965 graduate of Oakland High School. She loved shopping, previously worked as a retail sales clerk, and was an avid bargain hunter. She was a member of the Hindsboro United Methodist Church, a Morgan Township Trustee, and a member of United Methodist Women. Marcy was very social and never met a stranger. She dearly loved her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children: Kathryn Peoples of Tolono, IL, Christina Weber of Tolono, IL, and Anita Becker of Kastellaan, Germany; a brother: John Lutz of Oakland, IL; two sisters: Patricia (Mark) Eadie of Arcola, IL and Marjorie (Jim) Phelps of Charleston, IL; four grandchildren: Lonnie Fourman II, Kaylee Peoples, Andy Fourman, and Tristen Weber; two great-grandchildren: Lennon Fourman and Kinsley Skeels; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Delgado, and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Hindsboro United Methodist Church or the Oakland-Hindsboro Charitable Foundation.
