Obituary for Lodell Francis Barker
Lodell Francis Barker, age 78, of Chrisman, IL, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Paris Community Hospital.
Lodell was born on October 10, 1936 in Greencastle, IN to Wain Barker and Myrtle (Moller) Barker. He married Inez Marie Higgins on January 8, 1955 in Cloverdale, IN.
He is survived by four children, Doug (Mary) Barker of Paris, IL, Lodell Barker Jr. of Chrisman, IL, Janet Rigdon of Cayuga, IN, and Glenn (Candy) Barker also of Cayuga, IN. He is also survived by one sister, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Lodell enjoyed fishing, racing, listening to sports, and attending his grandkids’ sporting events.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Krabel Funeral Home of Chrisman is assisting the family with arrangements.
