Obituary for Linda Ruth Willming
Linda Ruth (Lang) Willming, age 69, of Chrisman, IL and formerly of Mahomet, IL was called home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, IL. Linda was born on March 24, 1943 in Danville, IL to Berlyn O. and Ruth M. (Beckman) Lang. She married Richard L. Willming on January 22, 1961 in Danville, IL. She was a member of the Olivet Nazarene Church, a Bunco Club and the Writer’s Guild. She enjoyed writing, gardening, playing the piano, loved her dogs and cats, was well known for decorating for every season and holiday and dearly loved all of her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Willming of Mahomet, IL; a son, Jamey (Darla) Willming of Chrisman, IL; two daughters, Lynnette (Rich) Ervin of Danville, IL and Kamala (James) Wynne of Covington, IN; one sister, Jacqueline (Chuck) Robertson of Georgetown, IL; seven grandchildren, Kayla Willming (Kevin Brothers) of Houston, TX, David Willming of Chrisman, IL, Chelsea Pruitt (Josh Weeks) of Phoenix, AZ, Kelbi Ervin of Danville, IL, Marissa (Bobby) Rennaker of Daphne, AL, Maissie (Nathen) Jenkins of Biloxi, MS and Dorian Wynne of Greenwood, IN and five great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chrisman Christian Church. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the church. There will be a private family burial at a later date. For those who wish, instead of flowers the family request memorials be made to Pleasant Meadows Christian Village – Activity Fund.
