Obituary for Kevin L. Paulding
Kevin L. Paulding, age 64, of Oakland, IL, died Friday, October 8, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born October 8, 1957, in Greenville, IL to Bud and Dorothy May (Scoles) Paulding. He married Pamela Kay (Adams) Paulding on September 24, 2010; she survives. He is also survived by nine children: Jessica Godbersen, Allen Paulding, Valerie Paulding, Kevin G. Paulding, Gentury Swyear, Kasey Swyear, Ashley Dye, Chayanne Dye, and Waylon Paulding; three brothers: Jeff Brown, David Paulding, and Ed Brown; one sister: Tina Ergle; nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Kevin was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver, both as an owner-operator and later for Dart Transportation. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and attended Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland, IL. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
