Obituary for Keith Allen Bonwell
Keith Allen Bonwell, age 66, of Chrisman, Illinois passed away Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. Keith was born May 12, 1954 in Paris, IL to Edward Allen and Mary Bell (Littlefield) Bonwell. He loved riding motorcycles and RZRs and was a founding member of Royal Riders Motorcycle club. He also enjoyed farming and carpentry. Keith had a unique and dry sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was always ready to help others. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, one brother: David Bonwell, and two brothers-in-law: Ed Davis and Bill Bristow. He is survived by his father: Edward Allen Bonwell; his partner of 20 years, Lisa Samford Frailey; his two daughters: Jessica (Matt) Walsh of Phoenix, AZ; Emily (Clay) Karz of Park City, UT; Lisa’s two sons, who he loved like his own: Shannon (Lacey) Frailey of Chrisman, IL; and Travis Frailey of Chrisman, IL; two sisters: Mary Carol (Jim Jenness) Davis of Chrisman, IL; and Lori Bristow of Chrisman, IL; six grandchildren: Renner Allen Walsh and Jameson Daniel Walsh of Phoenix, AZ; Clayton Pike Karz and Janis Lynn Karz of Park City, UT; Emmett Curtis Frailey and Etta Jane Frailey of Chrisman, IL. The family will hold private graveside services. There will be a Celebration of Life later this fall.
