Obituary for Karen Jane Willison
Karen J. (Tohill) Willison, age 70 of Hindsboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Palm Terrace Nursing Center in Mattoon, IL. Karen was born November 21, 1940 in Olney, IL to Lawson and Evelyn (Swartz) Tohill. She married Albert Willison on January 16, 1969 in Casey, IL; he survives. She is also survived by three sons: Wesley (Christie) Jones of Charleston, IL, David (Julie) Jones of Charleston, IL and Allen (Jana) Willison of O Fallon, MO; three daughters, Cindy Barnhart of Charleston, IL, Johanna (Wayne) Plummer of Charleston, IL and Emilianne (Paul) Lansdown of Fairbanks, AK; one step-daughter, Beth (Jim) Motley of Kansas, IL; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters. Karen was a member of Victory Church in Camargo. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed painting decorating and writing poetry. She was a wonderful grammy to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in VanVoorhis Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made Alzheimer’s Association of America or Voice of the Martyrs in care of the funeral home.
