She worked at Riggen’s Frostop in Chrisman, IL during her school years. After getting married, she worked and Kroger and Telxtra, later retiring from both. She enjoyed sitting on her porch in the summer and watching the hummingbirds, which she knew were symbols of the enjoyment of life and lightness of being. She spent her winters working jigsaw puzzles and watching Hallmark movies. Her ultimate love and devotion was to her grandchildren, Gavin, Jessica, and Amanda, who loved her Christmas spirit and holiday surprises. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Jack; her grandson: Dillon; and her sister-in-law: Connie Henry. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, two children: Duane (Donelle) Ash of Farmer City, IL; and Rodney (Colleen) Ash of Champaign, IL; three grandchildren: Gavin, Jessica, and Amanda; three brothers: Jim Henry of Chrisman, IL; Gary (Renee) Henry of Hume, IL; and Mike (Theresa) Henry of Chrisman, IL; one sister: Jo (Larry) Cox of Chrisman, IL; a sister-in-law: Nila Henry of Ridge Farm, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
