David loved his work and dedicated his life to farming. David and Sandy enjoyed running their family farm together for over 30 years and always worked as teammates. David also worked as a crop consultant for United Prairie. David cared for his customers as friends and always enjoyed his work.

David was a faithful follower of Jesus and was an active member and elder at Cayuga Christian Church for nearly 30 years.

David loved his family well and was a devoted Husband, Dad, and Papa. David led his family spiritually and ensured they had a strong foundation of faith to one day be reunited with him - this hope will get us through the difficult days ahead. He will be missed immensely but he ran the race well and is now receiving his eternal reward in heaven.

The family invites all who know and love him to join them in celebrating his life on August 28, 2024. A visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM (CST) with a service to immediately follow at Cayuga Christian Church at 406 S. Logan Street Cayuga, IN. Following service David will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Cayuga Christian Church in David’s name.
