Obituary for John Bunten
John Ellis Bunten, age 63 of Brocton, and formerly of Oakland died Monday, August 27, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. John was born February 21, 1949 in Connersville, IN to Clifford Murle and Daisy Belle (Adams) Bunten. He worked as a machine operator at Masterbrand Cabinets. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes, and loved animals. He is survived by his wife, Karen Bunten of Brocton, IL; three children: Laura Bruington of Mattoon, IL, David Plue of Bloomington, IL and James “Dusty” (Tammy) Plue of Pekin, IL; a brother, Bill (Barbara) Bunten of Oakland and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. No public services are schedules. The family will hold a private life celebration service at a later date.
