Obituary for Jennie Lou Bart
Jennie Lou (Richno) Bart, age 80, of Oakland, Illinois passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Hilltop Convalescent Center in Charleston, Illinois. She was born on February 26, 1934 in Springfield, Illinois to Matthew and Jane (Richards) Richno. She married Arthur Roy Bart on September 9, 1967 in Decatur, Illinois. Jennie lived in Oakland most of her life, was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed horseback riding, raising dogs, deer hunting, being outdoors and was a member of the Effingham Harley Owners Group. She is survived by her husband, Art; seven children: Michael Whitmore (Thomas Penrose) of Springfield, IL, Debra (Dennis) Laager of Springfield, IL, Tim (Brenda) Whitmore of Oakland, IL, Jennie Lynn Curtis of Oakland, IL, Willie (Jeannie) Whitmore of Westville, OK, Christina Vedder of Winchester, IL and Belinda (Jim) Clifton of Oakland, IL; two brothers: Richard (Noelia) Richno of Springfield, IL and Harvey (Kay) Richno of Springfield, IL; one sister, Mary Richno of Iowa; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one son, Jackie Jay Whitmore and one granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Springfield, IL at 2:30 p.m. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Coles County Animal Shelter or American Cancer Society.
