Obituary for Janet Louise Straw
Janet Louise (Roesener) Straw, age 67, of Chrisman, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village. Janet was born June 15, 1942 in Marion County, Indiana to Wilbert George and Violet May (Lancaster) Roesener. She married Roy Straw on September 1, 1961 in Chrisman. Janet had worked for the USDA as a Community Development Assistant, and she enjoyed sewing. She is survived by her husband, Roy Straw of Chrisman; two sons, Richard Allen Straw and his wife Ellen, and Mark Laroy Straw and his wife Carolyn; one brother, Norman Roesener, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Chrisman Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.
