Gregory Albert Currey, age 74, of Brocton, IL, died Thursday, February 13, 2025, at OSF Heart of Mary medical Center in Urbana, IL.
Gregory was born September 28, 1950, in Paris, IL, to Isaac “Ike” Albert and Marjorie Ellen (Smith) Currey Davis; both preceded him in death. He is survived by two brothers: Steven (Jeanne) Currey of Prospect, KY, and Michael (Kristina) Currey of Charleston, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gregory graduated from Brocton High School and went on to earn a B.S. in business from Eastern Illinois University. He was employed as a clerk for the United States Postal Service. He was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Brocton, and enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, photography, boating, and fishing.
A private family service will be held.
