Edward Joseph Eich, age 61, of Hindsboro, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois. Mr. Eich was born May 7, 1949 in Charleston, Illinois to Joseph Charles and Lola Dell (Rardin) Eich. He worked as a construction supervisor for Javalina Construction of Fishers, Indiana. He enjoyed raising and showing cattle throughout the country and watching NASCAR. He is survived by a son, C.J. Eich and his fiance Natalie Studer of Joliet, Illinois; two daughters, Crystal Kellner and husband Dave of Rensselaer, Indiana and Tonya Eich of Newman, Illinois; his mother, Lola Eich; a brother, Tom Eich of Charleston, Illinois; a sister, Nancy Kayser of Webster City, Iowa, and two grandchildren, Marcie and Ryan Kellner, and his former spouse, Berta Eich of Arcola, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Cemetery near Hindsboro, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Hindsboro Civic Center in care of Krabel Funeral Home, 215 E. Main Street, PO Box 1007, Oakland, Illinois.
