Edith Faye Redman, age 83, of Chrisman, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday. April 29, 2020 at Twin Lakes Rehab & Healthcare in Paris, IL.
Edith was born May 11, 1936 in Scottland, IL to Joseph and Leota (Eslinger) McCauley. She married Donald WyJune Redman on December 2, 1953, and they enjoyed 64 wonderful years before his passing in 2018.
Edith was a member of Kidley Community Church and loved teaching God’s word. She also enjoyed oil painting, and loved being with her family.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four siblings: Delores Ingram, Idella Bowman, Iris Ross, and Thomas Ayers.
She is survived by her five children: Donna Redman (Rick) Muelver, Deborah (Michael) Martin, Diana (Jamie) Botner, Steve (Natalya) Redman, and Darla Redman; two sisters: Linda Meyers and Ronda Mallory; sixteen grandchildren, and thirty-five great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
