Obituary for Donald McGregor
Donald E. McGregor age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 17, 2010. He was born on June 29, 1931 in Borton, IL to the late Paul and Eva Shaffer McGregor. He married Alberta Kirkley on August 12, 1950 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughters Carol Bauer of Indianapolis, Linda (Rick) McGregor-Samberg of Indianapolis, and Donna McGregor of Elizabethton, TN; sons Paul (Janet) McGregor of Indianapolis, and Michael McGregor of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 6:00 PM, Saturday, February 20 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Indianapolis. Local visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, February 22 at Standard Funeral Home in Oakland, IL. A funeral service will be conducted at Standard Funeral Home in Oakland at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 23. Burial will be in Embarrass Cemetery, Redmon, IL. Memorial gifts have been suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
