Obituary for Deborah Ann Yates
Deborah Ann "Debbie" Yates passed away on April 25, 2015 in Hoopeston, IL. She was 64. Born on May 16, 1950 to Fred and Barbara Yates, Debbie was the oldest of three siblings. She was a proud graduate of Chrisman High School (Class of 1968) and a resident of Hoopeston for several years. Debbie maintained a lifelong love of animals, especially cats. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and Fighting Illini basketball games. Debbie leaves behind a sister, Andrea (Dana) Russett of Richmond Hill, GA; a brother, Timothy (Cyndi) Yates of Hoopeston; six nephews; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Chrisman, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hoopeston Animal Shelter.
