Obituary for Carolyn Coleman Sublett
Carolyn (Coleman) Sublett, age 66, of Chrisman passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born December 23, 1946 in Kansas, IL to Lonnie and Ophelia (Whalen) Coleman. On January 29, 1972 she married Nathan Keith Sublett in Champaign, IL. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Edgar County and was a homemaker, raising four children. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, crochet, quilting, researching genealogy and dearly loved her grandchildren. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 41 years, Keith; two sons: Jamie and Justin Sublett both of Chrisman; two daughters: Jill (Andrew) Torrey of Urbana and Janna Sublett of Chrisman; one brother, Don (Barbara) Coleman of Camp, Arkansas and two grandchildren: Miles and Naomi Torrey of Urbana. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Following cremation, a private family service will be held at a later date. Krabel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
