Obituary for Anna Faye Greve
Anna Faye (Brown) Greve, age 70, of Chrisman, IL, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at her home while surrounded by her loving family after fighting a very courageous battle with mantel cell lymphoma.
Anna was born November 1, 1943 in Macon County, TN to William Troy and Loma Gray (Kirby) Brown. She married Charles Robert Greve on July 16, 1961; he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter: Lisa (Steve) Lewis of Chrisman, IL; two sisters: Juda Frahm of Windsor, IL and Lavonne (Bob) Brunner of Urbana, IL; four brothers: J.C. (Kay) Brown of Champaign, IL, Prentice Brown of Atwood, IL, Gerald Brown of Atwood, IL and Neal (Renee) Brown of Atwood, IL; three grandchildren: Lacey Jane Frailey, Levi Lewis and Dalton Lewis; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister: Connie Rae, a nephew: Travis Barrow; and a brother-in-law: Errol Frahm.
Anna lived in Chrisman over fifty years. She was a people person who never met a stranger and touched the lives of many people. She lived life to the fullest and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend, and a great encourager. Anna will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Chrisman. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Chrisman Christian Church.
